About the event
The Durban NCD Symposium on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), themed "A Lifespan Approach to NCDs: From Childhood to Adulthood," brings together healthcare professionals for a focused discussion on the evolving landscape of NCD prevention and management.
Hosted at the Liberty Building at Umhlanga, this symposium will explore integrated strategies to address NCDs across all life stages starting from early childhood through to adulthood. Through expert presentations, panel discussions, and collaborative dialogue, the event aims to deepen understanding, share best practices, and strengthen multi-sectoral responses to the growing NCD burden.
This is a unique opportunity for clinicians, public health specialists, researchers, and policy makers to engage in meaningful knowledge exchange and help shape a more holistic, lifespan-oriented approach to health.
